Coverage your family can count on.
An independent health and life insurance agency based in Florida, serving families nationwide. We get families covered at no cost to them.
Coverage we help you find
We compare what you qualify for and enroll you in the plan that fits your family and your budget. The carriers pay us, so you never do.
- Call or text. We ask about your household, income, and doctors.
- We check what subsidies you qualify for and pull the plans side by side.
- You pick. We enroll you and stay your agent all year for questions, claims, and changes.
What to have ready
Having these on hand makes your call about 15 minutes, start to finish.
- Birth dates and home address for everyone applying
- Social Security numbers, or immigration document numbers for anyone who has them
- Your best estimate of next year's household income (recent pay stubs, W-2s or last year's tax return help)
- Information about any job-based coverage you or your spouse could get
- Your current plan and policy number, if you have one
- A list of your doctors and prescriptions, so we can check each plan's network
-
Marketplace health insurance MOST FAMILIES
ACA plans from the Health Insurance Marketplace, with the premium tax credits that bring many families' monthly cost down to little or nothing. We compare every plan we are appointed to offer in your county so you see the real choices side by side.
-
Life insurance ANY TIME OF YEAR
Term and whole life so the people who depend on you are protected if you are not there. There is no enrollment window: you can apply any time of year, and we can quote it on the same call as your health plan. This is the legacy in our name.
-
Dental and vision
Standalone plans for cleanings, fillings, glasses, and exams, often added the same day as your health plan.
-
Supplemental coverage
Accident, critical illness, and hospital indemnity plans that pay you cash when something happens, to cover the deductible and the bills a health plan does not.
-
Short-term and off-marketplace plans
For gaps between jobs or when you do not qualify for a subsidy. We will tell you plainly what these do and do not cover.
Questions families ask us
Plain answers to the things that come up on almost every call.
Do I really pay nothing for your help?
Correct. The insurance carrier pays us a commission when you enroll, and it is the same amount whichever plan you pick. Your premium is the same whether you enroll through us or on your own.
What counts as income for the subsidy?
Your expected household income for the coverage year, before taxes, for everyone on your tax return. Wages, self-employment, Social Security, unemployment, and rental income all count. We help you estimate it, and you can update it any time during the year.
What happens if my income changes mid-year?
Tell us and we update your application. If you earn more than you estimated, part of the subsidy may be reconciled on your tax return, so keeping the estimate current is the best protection.
Can I keep my doctor?
Often yes, but not always. Every plan has its own network. Give us your doctors' names and we check them plan by plan before you choose.
What if I missed open enrollment?
Losing other coverage, moving, getting married, having a baby, or a change in income that affects eligibility can open a 60-day special enrollment window. Call us and we will check whether you qualify.
I am self-employed. Do I qualify?
Yes. Marketplace plans are built for people without employer coverage, and self-employed households are among the most common we enroll.
Will you change my plan without asking me?
No. We do not touch your Marketplace application without your documented permission, and we never change your plan without asking you first. That is a rule we hold every agent to.
What does the agency do after I enroll?
We stay your agent for the year: ID card problems, adding a newborn, changing your income, questions about a bill, and renewal in the fall. You call the same person who enrolled you.
Can you help with life insurance too?
Yes. Life insurance has no enrollment window, so you can apply any time of year. We can look at term and whole life on the same call as your health plan, or on its own.
I am a licensed agent. Are you hiring?
Yes. We recruit licensed health agents in every state, with free leads, a written pay scale, a step-up scale that adds monthly residuals for consistent producers, and a $500 sign-on bonus. Agents with a life and health license can also write life insurance for their clients year-round.

A career path, not a job posting
We recruit licensed health agents in every state and pay a scale that is written down before you write your first application. Leads are provided at no cost, you work remotely, and every member you enroll pays you now. Consistent producers step up to a scale that adds a residual every month the member stays covered. And because we are a health and life agency, the families you enroll become a second income line that pays all year.
- Remote, from any state
- Leads supplied by the agency
- Training on Marketplace enrollment and compliance
- Paid on the agency's regular commission cycle
- Priority on lead flow during open enrollment for consistent producers
Paid once you complete your first 200 enrollments with the agency.
Refer a licensed agent who joins Fajardo Legacy. When they complete their first 200 enrollments, you earn $500 too.
Two ways to step up your own scale
At Fajardo Legacy, growth is built into the path. Agents who produce consistently and keep their clients covered have shown the two things a team leader needs, and we reward both.
You reach the step-up scale by either door, and it applies to everything you write from that point on:
- ProduceWrite 1,000 enrollments yourself.
- BuildBring in five agents who have been appointed and writing under the agency for three months, each averaging 25 effectuated members a week.
The agents you recruit are paid on the same written scale you started on and are trained through the agency, so you are not carrying them alone.
Any team compensation beyond the step-up is set out in writing before it is offered, so you always know exactly what you are building toward.
If leading a team is where you want to go, say so when you apply and we will tell you exactly how the count works and what is available beyond it.
Health opens the door. Life builds the legacy.
Every family you enroll in a health plan has people depending on them, and most have never had an agent ask about life insurance. You already have their trust and their phone number. Agents with a life and health license write life for the clients they already serve.
Start with health for Open Enrollment. When it ends January 15, your book becomes your life pipeline.
- Work all twelve monthsOpen Enrollment is ten weeks. Life insurance has no enrollment window, so February through October is selling season too.
- Clients you already haveYou are not starting from a cold list. Your first life conversations are with households you enrolled and still service.
- A bigger commission per saleLife pays a percentage of the policy's first-year premium, separate from your per-member health pay. The life schedule is put in writing before you write your first policy.
- Health-only license?Start on health now and add the life line when you are ready. Nothing about your health pay changes.
Your first 30 days
- Days 1 to 5Paperwork and appointmentsAgent agreement signed, license and FFM certification verified, carrier appointment requests submitted by the agency.
- Days 5 to 10TrainingMarketplace application walkthrough, consent and documentation rules, how our lead flow works, and how we handle chargebacks and reconciliation.
- Days 10 to 20First applicationsYou write with a lead supplied by the agency and a senior agent on the line for the first few. Appointments are typically active by this point.
- Day 20 onwardProducingFull lead flow. Your first advances land on the first pay cycle after your members are effectuated on the carrier's book.
See what each scale does
Move the slider to your weekly pace. Fifty a week is what agents on our lead flow typically write; the range runs up from there. The estimate runs three years at the same weekly pace. The starting scale pays $25 per member, so it grows with your pace. The step-up columns show the same production at $27.50 per member plus the $3 monthly residual, which stacks: year 2 collects on year 1 and year 2 business at once. It assumes one member per enrollment, that about 1 in 8 policies drops before three months, and that about 20% of the remaining book leaves each year.
- ChargebacksIf a policy lapses before its third month, the advance on that enrollment is charged back to you. Residuals already paid are yours.
- Residual timingOn the step-up scale, residuals begin the fourth month a member is active and stack: business you wrote last year keeps paying while you write this year.
- What you needAn active health insurance license in your state and current FFM Marketplace certification. We help you get appointed.
- What you keepYour clients stay your clients. The scale rewards keeping them covered, not churning them.

Estimate only, for illustration. Actual pay depends on effectuated members, household size, retention, and the written agent agreement, which controls. Health pay only: life insurance commissions are separate and are not included here.
Ask about joining
Licensed agents in any state can apply. Two short steps: tell us about your license, then chat with our AI screener about the must-haves for Open Enrollment (about ten minutes). If you meet them, you pick a time for your full interview right away, then text your screening to a partner. A partner replies personally, usually the same day.

What this website collects
Only what you choose to submit. When you send the quote form, your name, phone number, ZIP code, household size, income range and the coverage you asked about are saved to our records so a partner can follow up, and a text message opens on your own phone with the same details. The agent application on the Careers page works the same way: what you type in the screening chat is sent to our AI screening service, Claude by Anthropic, to run the interview, and your application and screening answers are saved to our recruiting records. We also receive what you send us by text, by phone, or in person.
How we use what you send
To answer your questions, prepare a quote, and, only with your permission, help you apply for coverage or join the agency. We never sell or rent your information.
Marketplace applications
If we help you enroll in a Marketplace plan, we first get your documented consent, as the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services requires, and we keep that record for ten years. We share your information only with the Marketplace and the insurance company you choose, as needed to enroll you and service your plan.
Calls and texts
If you give us permission to contact you, we may call or text you about your coverage or request. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any text to opt out, or ask us on a call. Consent is never a condition of buying a plan.
